We provide public accounting, tax and advisory services to individuals and diverse clients in private industry. Our Staff Accountants enjoy a variety of work in a collaborative work environment with training, mentoring and support.

Responsibilities will include:
As a Staff Accountant, you will prepare individual, business and partnership tax returns; assist in audit, review and compilation engagements; review payroll and sales tax returns and research complex tax scenarios. Our approach means you will collaborate with and learn from experienced team members.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
· Attention to detail
· Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
· Ability to evaluate, identify and execute proposed solutions to problems
· Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
· Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), experience with CCH Axcess or ProSystem fx desired
· Flexible work schedule required January – April with required overtime

Education, Training &/or Certification:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
· Sufficient credits to sit for CPA exam

Brantley Janson is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. We provide public accounting, tax and advisory services to individuals and diverse clients in private industry. Our Senior Accountants enjoy a tremendous degree of variety in a collaborative work environment with training, mentoring and support.

Responsibilities will include:
Senior Tax Accountants are vital members of our tax practice. As a Senior, you will prepare a variety of individual, business, fiduciary and partnership tax returns along with supporting our clients via tax planning, projections, and research of complex tax-related issues.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
• Attention to detail
• Strong analytical, tax research, problem solving and decision making skills
• Ability to evaluate, identify and execute proposed solutions to problems
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), experience with CCH proSystem fx or Axcess desired
• Flexible work schedule with required overtime from January to April

Education, Training &/or Certification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• 3+ years of recent public accounting experience
• CPA license or CPA candidate making progress in completing exams
